Valencia, a fabulous city full of contrasts and a travel photographers dream. There are two distinct parts to this city. The old part, El Carmen, with its beautiful 13th century cathedral, the Gothic chamber of commerce La Lonja de la Seda – a UNESCO World Heritage site, the bustling Mercato Central and a wealth of traditional Spanish architecture. Wandering through the warren of narrow alleys, you’ll be struck by the abundance of vibrant street art that sits in contrast with the grand old buildings and cobbled streets. Then there is the modern masterpiece, the City of Arts and Sciences. An incredible collection of striking, futuristic buildings designed by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.

On this tour we will spend time in both areas capturing the atmosphere and character of the city though more time will be spent photographing the wonderful architecture at the City of Arts & Sciences.

This is a Spanish city that has it all — food, architecture and good weather, a perfect photographic location.

A small group means that I can give you individual help and advice on topics including:

Our hotel is very close to the main locations and the area is flat. There will be some walking but it is easy with no great distances.  We will be out each day for sunrise, come back to the hotel for breakfast and a break to recharge and then out again. We will have an early dinner before shooting sunset.

This is a three day Tour with four nights accommodation (17th - 20th October).
The Tour commences before sunrise on 18th October and concludes after sunset on 20th October.
You can fly from whichever airport is convenient for you but please do not book flights until advised.
